Setting up the MicroSIP application

Setting up the MicroSIP softphone on Windows:

  1. Visit the official website at https://www.microsip.org/downloads.

  2. Download version 3.21.3 by clicking on MicroSIP-3.21.3.exe.

Installing the MicroSIP application

  1. To install the program, go to downloads and double-click on the icon.

  2. After that, a modal window will open, select the language you prefer.

  3. The download window opens, click Next.

  4. Review and agree to the license by clicking I Agree.

  5. Select all the components to install and click Next.

  6. Select the folder to install the application and click Next.

  7. Click Install.

  8. Check the Run MicroSIP and click Finish.

The application is successfully installed.

Adding an account to MicroSIP

  1. Click the black arrow pointing down.

  2. Click Add account.

  3. After that, a modal window for entering data will open.

To enter the registration data, you need to log in to your OneVOIPlanet personal account.

  1. Click Employees.

  2. Click on the employee's name or click the "..." button and select Edit.

  3. Select SIP account and the employee's details will open: SIP address, domain, and password.

  4. Fill in the following fields in MicroSIP according to the employee details from the personal account:

    • Account Name: SIP address (e.g., 005)

    • SIP Server: Domain (e.g., c333.sip.onevoiplanet.com)

    • SIP Proxy: Domain (e.g., c333.sip.onevoiplanet.com)

    • Username: SIP address (e.g., 005)

    • Domain: Domain with port (e.g., c333.sip.onevoiplanet.com:5070)

    • Login: SIP address (e.g., 005)

    • Password: SIP account password

    • Transport: TCP

    After completing the fields, click Save to apply the settings.

  5. If the data is entered correctly, the lower left corner will say Online and the phone icon will be green.

Configuring MicropSIP when working with a VPN

  1. To use the VPN correctly, click the black arrow pointing down.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Check the STUN server checkbox and click Save.


At the beginning of the day, to receive calls (to enable account activity), select your account in the settings.

To take a break and log out of the network at the end of the day, uncheck the box in your account, then the SIP application will not receive calls. At the bottom left, the phone icon will be grayed out and the MicroSIP label will be displayed.
